Veronika Kudermetova vs Polina Kudermetova prediction
Veronika Kudermetova reached the third-round of Roland Garros before losing to Ekaterina Alexandrova in straight sets. She also got to the same stage in Madrid and Rome but failed to make a deep run at any of her clay court events and has still not made a quarter-final this year.
Polina suffered an earlier exit in Paris as she lost to 2017 French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko in three sets despite taking the opener. Her clay season was a disappointing one as she won just one match from the four tournaments she competed in.
This will be the second encounter between the sisters as they played just two months ago in the first-round of Madrid with Veronika comfortably winning 6-2 6-2. She’s in the better form of the two and has far more experience on the grass, having also made the final here in 2023. We’re expecting another comfortable win for Vernoika in the first-round.
