Venus Williams accepted a wildcard to compete at the Bad Homburg Open. She is set to reunite with sister Serena in the doubles at Wimbledon next week, but the seven-time Grand Slam singles champion will be hopeful for a win in round one of this event against Irina-Camelia Begu. She has lost all seven of her singles matches in 2026, having last competed in Madrid two months ago, losing to Kaitlin Quevedo in straight sets.
