Tomas Martin Etcheverry vs Daniil Medvedev prediction

Tomas Martin Etcheverry’s campaign at Roland Garros was short-lived, as he was swept aside by Nuno Borges in the opening match. The Argentine ended the clay court season poorly, losing four of his last five matches. He now begins his grass court campaign at the Halle Open, and he did advance to the quarter-finals of the event last year. Etcheverry defeated Andrey Rublev in the round-of-16, before a loss to Karen Khachanov.

He will face Daniil Medvedev in the first-round. The former world number one is hoping to finally win the title after two previous final appearances. Medvedev lost in the final last year to Alexander Bublik. He competed at the Libema Open last week, but he was defeated at the semi-final stage after a surprising loss to Kamil Majchrzak in straight sets.

Etcheverry’s recent form has not been particularly strong, and Medvedev will be viewed as the clear favourite to advance.
