Thiago Agustin Tirante produced a major upset in the second round, backing up his defeat of Jan Choinski by knocking out Novak Djokovic. The Argentine came from behind to defeat the Serb 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Martin Landaluce also began his Cincinnati Open by beating British opposition as he eased past the regressing and still not himself Jack Draper. The Spaniard then overcame Matteo Arnaldi in the second round the other day. 

Thiago Agustin Tirante reached the round of 16 of the Montreal Open earlier this month and is in fine form at the moment so siding with the Argentine remains the way to go for this one, despite Landaluce's own impressive tournament thus far.
