Tereza Valentova vs Karolina Pliskova prediction
Tereza Valentova, aged just 19, has made it past the first round of all Grand Slam tournaments, bar Wimbledon. Valentova most recently reached the quarter-finals of the Eastbourne Open before a 21-game defeat to Tatiana Maria last week.
Karolina Pliskova comes into this one on the back of reaching the semi-finals of the Nottingham Open, eventually beaten by Maria Bouzkova. Pliskova also reached the quarter-finals at Queen’s and heads into Wimbledon in good form.
Pliskova is in decent form at the moment after an injury-hit time of it and she will fancy herself to defeat her compatriot on Court 4.
