World number 58 Viktorija Golubic reached the semi-finals of the Nottingham Open earlier this month before defeat to eventual runner-up Alison Riske and she has since lost back-to-back matches in Birmingham and Eastbourne. However, the 29-year-old is probably at her best on grass and she produced a stunning run to the quarter-finals here last season with victories over the likes of Veronika Kudermetova, Danielle Collins and Madison Keys and she should be considered a serious threat at SW19. World number 57 Andrea Petkovic stunned the, currently, fairly stunnable Garbine Muguruza at the Berlin Open two weeks ago but it was nonetheless an impressive result on grass. The 34-year-old has reached at least the quarter-finals of the other three Grand Slams but Wimbledon has often been a source of frustration for her. Golubic beat Petkovic in straight sets at the Qatar Open earlier this season and backing the Swiss to take this outright seems a reasonable conclusion.
