THE PREDICTION
Dutch wildcard Tim van Rijthoven grabbed his opportunity with both hands on Tuesday with a straight-sets victory over Matthew Ebden only his second win at tour level. The 25-year-old has drawn one of the shorter straws at the Libema Open, though, with world number 14 Taylor Fritz an excellent competitor on grass. The 24-year-old won the first ATP title of his career at the Eastbourne International in 2019 on the surface and recently he has amped up his game to break the top 20 with a stunning first Masters title at Indian Wells back in March. Fritz may have to finish up a suspended doubles match first on Wednesday but that should only aid him in warming up. Back the American to win outright for a sensible, if cautious, call or risk the outright. Fritz has played just two matches since mid-April after injury at the Monte-Carlo Masters.
