21-year-old Sebastian Baez will be a seeded player at a Grand Slam for the first time here after an excellent start to his first full season on tour. The Argentine prospect won his first ATP title at the Estoril Open back in May on his favoured clay, although he has also impressed on hardcourts this season. This looks like it could be an entertaining first meeting between Baez and 29-year-old Taro Daniel, with four or five sets likely here. World number 123 Daniel has been impressive in fits and bursts this season, especially at Grand Slams where the longer format has seen him defeat the likes of Andy Murray and take a set from Jannik Sinner. Take both players to win at least a set here and leave the winner up to chance, although Baez should be able to edge through eventually.
