World number 21 Grigor Dimitrov came back from a set down to beat Cam Norrie at Queen’s two weeks ago before a straight-sets defeat to Botic van de Zandschulp in the round of 16. The 31-year-old former world number three is yet to reach a Grand Slam final with three semi-final exits across his career coming here in 2014, the Australian Open in 2017 and the US Open in 2019. Dimitrov beat Steve Johnson in their first ever meeting in the second round of Wimbledon back in 2015 but Johnson returned the favour a year later, winning a third round encounter in four. The former world number 21 enjoys the grass, with two his four ATP titles coming on this surface, and despite a 5-2 deficit to Dimitrov in their head-to-head it would not be a surprise to see sets go both ways.
