STEFANOS TSITSIPAS VS FABIO FOGNINI PREDICTION

After a disappointing second-round exit at Wimbledon, Stefanos Tsitsipas will be relieved to be back on the clay and he saw off Hamad Medjedovic in the round of 16 to set up this quarter-final against Italian veteran Fognini.

The 37-year-old Fognini is in the twilight of his career and more often plays on the Challenger Tour these days. While he is a former champion at this tournament, having gone all the way in 2017, it’s unlikely that the Italian will be able to stand up to Tsitsipas here give the level he showed in his three-set victory over world number 113 Juan Pablo Varillas in the previous round.

Tsitsipas is growing in confidence and a straight-sets win for the Greek is the prediction.
