World number 72 Qinwen Zheng stunned Sloane Stephens in the first round of the Charleston Open in her first clay match of the season and the 19-year-old Chinese prospect is only getting better on tour. She has drawn a seriously tough opener, though, against current world number 67 Karolina Muchova, who is on the road to recovery after a long injury lay-off. The former world number 19 enjoyed an excellent return to the tour at the Miami Open with a victory over Leylah Fernandez before she pulled out of a third round clash with Naomi Osaka with fatigue. The 25-year-old did not drop a set in Miami, though, and she looks the solid favourite to win this first meeting with Qinwen Zheng fresh from some rest. Back Muchova to win outright here.
