THE PREDICTION
World number 19 Pablo Carreno Busta beat Holger Rune in straight sets on Monday to snap a three-match losing streak and hopefully get his season back on track. The 30-year-old finished runner-up to Carlos Alcaraz at the Barcelona Open in April but he has otherwise struggled in recent months, suffering numerous upsets including losing to Gilles Simon in the first round at Roland-Garros. World number 41 Sebastian Korda has also been frustrating at times this season with some huge performances in an eventual defeat to Rafael Nadal in Barcelona and a win over Alcaraz at Monte-Carlo as good as recent losses to Carlos Taberner and Lorenzo Musetti are poor by his standards. The 21-year-old has an excellent game for grass, reaching the round of 16 at Wimbledon last season on his debut, but PCB is an excellent all-courter too. The Spaniard won their only previous meeting in four sets at the Australian Open back in January but backing Korda to win at least a set as the just-about likelier victor seems the best way to lean here.
