It is first seed versus second seed here as world number one Novak Djokovic takes on number eight Andrey Rublev for only the second time. 34-year-old Djokovic has thrice had to come back from a set down at the Serbia Open to beat Laslo Djere, in-form Miomir Kecmanovic and most recently Karen Khachanov in the semi-finals but he will be all the better for those battles moving forwards. 24-year-old Rublev has enjoyed a softer draw with back-to-back straight-set victories over Taro Daniel and Fabio Fognini backing up a tight opener against Jiri Lehecka and he will be by far the fresher of the two on Sunday. The pair first met late last year at the ATP Finals where Djokovic was assured in a straight-sets victory and he is very likely to win this final on home soil in front of a partisan crowd. However, Rublev is his toughest foe this week and that makes three sets highly likely considering his campaign so far.
