30-year-old Nikoloz Basilashvili set his best Grand Slam showing at the 2018 US Open with a run to the round of 16 but he has never made it past the third round at Wimbledon. The Georgian has won just two of four matches on grass this season and he failed to qualify for the Mallorca Open this week. 36-year-old Czech veteran Lukas Rosol will always be a memorable name at Wimbledon after he stunned then world number two Rafael Nadal in the second round here back in 2012. The former world number 26 qualified without dropping a set this week for some convincing momentum on grass and Basilashvili is always susceptible to a shock defeat as one of the more unpredictable players on tour. Call it sentimental but backing Rosol to stun the Georgian in a small one-off could be a very shrewd move indeed. Otherwise, take the Czech to enjoy his swansong by earning at least a set here.
