26-year-old Barbora Krejcikova has struggled with injuries for the large part of this season and she came back too soon in Paris, losing in the first round as the defending Roland-Garros champion. The Czech was in red-hot form here last season to reach the round of 16 but she has failed to win back-to-back matches since reaching the quarter-finals of the Australian Open back in January and she lost her first match back on grass in three sets to Marta Kostyuk this week in Eastbourne. Still, this looks a kind opener for the Czech against world number 68 Maryna Zanevska as the Belgian is riding a four-match losing streak into SW19. The really cautious move is taking Krejcikova to win at least a set but realistically she can be backed to overcome Zanevska in this first meeting between the two.
