20-year-old Diane Parry will set a new career-high WTA world ranking of around 64th after beating fellow Frenchwoman Harmony Tan in three sets on Tuesday. Parry has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough season on tour, reaching the third round at back-to-back Grand Slams this summer before defeats to Sloane Stephens in Paris and eventual runner-up Ons Jabeur at Wimbledon. 24-year-old Lucrezia Stefanini qualified well this weekend to make the main draw at the Jasmin Open and she took the opportunity with both hands in a comeback victory over in-form Magda Linette. The Italian will also set a new career-high ranking of around 140th no matter the outcome here but her momentum will be a tough force for Parry to stop here. Back the Frenchwoman to win at least a set inside an accumulator or go for a reasonably risky three-set option outright.
