World number 79 Mackenzie McDonald looks in good shape in Florence too, though, after ousting Jenson Brooksby in three sets on Wednesday and taking out Italian youngster Francesco Passaro on Thursday. The 27-year-old is at his best on a hardcourt and the conditions certainly favour his game over Musetti’s but the partisan atmosphere should at least level things in this first meeting.
