KAREN KHACHANOV VS CARLOS ALCARAZ PREDICTION
Karen Khachanov beat Francisco Cerundolo for a seventh successive time in the last round but he now meets an opponent who has dominated their previous meetings against him. The 28-year-old Russian has looked strong especially on serve so far in his opening two matches but that will be tested in this one.
He meets Carlos Alcaraz who has been extremely impressive in his opening two matches at the China Open so far. After beating French giant Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Alcaraz dominated Tallon Griekspoor losing just three games on route to victory in the round of 16.
He is now drawn against the Russian who has met on three previous occasions and beaten each time. That will give him yet more confidence coming into this match and we fully expect the Spaniard to address to the semi-finals.
