Former world number 10 David Goffin has spent much of the last two seasons in the wilderness but the 31-year-old looks rejuvenated on the clay this swing. The Belgian won a sixth ATP title at the Marrakech Open last month and enjoyed runs to the Monte-Carlo Open and Madrid Open with some excellent results, including a straight-sets victory over Czech prospect Jiri Lehecka. 21-year-old Lehecka produced a stunning run to the Rotterdam Open semi-finals back in February and took the first set against Stefanos Tsitsipas before defeat there but he so far looks at his best on a hardcourt. Goffin beat Hubert Hurkacz last time out in Rome and took Rafael Nadal to three sets in an enthralling contest in Madrid the week before for form that makes him a dark horse for the second week at Roland-Garros. Back Goffin to win outright.
