World number 10 Jannik Sinner is back on tour after three weeks away following his superb run to the quarter-finals at Wimbledon. The 20-year-old dismissed the idea that he is weak on grass with some huge performances, beating Stan Wawrinka and in-form John Isner in the earlier rounds before stunning Carlos Alcaraz in four exhilarating sets and then taking eventual champion Novak Djokovic all the way to five. World number 59 Jaume Munar could take an early lead in this first meeting with Sinner given the Italian’s lengthy break, and the need to recalibrate back to clay, but it is hard to see the Spaniard causing the full upset here. Munar came back from a set down to Mikael Ymer on Monday but it would not be a surprise to see him lose by a similar result here, making Sinner to win outright the sensible call and Munar to win the first set but Sinner to win the match a potentially valuable one-off punt.
