World number 105 Jaume Munar is playing some strong tennis this season and the Spaniard is certainly more dangerous than his ranking suggests. The 24-year-old stunned Pablo Carreno Busta in three sets at Indian Wells last month and he took Aslan Karatsev to a gruelling five-setter at the Australian Open but his best surface is still the clay, with a first tour final reached last season at the Andalucia Open. World number 34 Federico Delbonis is also at his best on the red surface and the Argentine found plenty of form over the clay swing last season. The 31-year-old is riding a five-match losing streak into the Monte-Carlo Open since losing in the round of 16 at the Rio Open to eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz but it should not be long before he recovers some form. Munar qualified well for the main draw this week and backing him to win at least a set looks the shrewd move here as the just about likelier winner.
