THE PREDICTION

World number 74 Jaume Munar stunned an out-of-sorts Francisco Cerundolo, top seed this week in Cordoba, in straight sets on Wednesday to back up his solid opener over Daniel Galan. The 26-year-old is one of the more streaky, unpredictable players on tour but he appears to be in a good spell after taking in-form Adrian Mannarino to five sets before defeat in the second round of the Australian Open last month. World number 207 Facundo Bagnis should not be underestimated, though, as one of the better clay specialists on tour at his peak. The 33-year-old has endured a few tough seasons in the wilderness but he won a Challenger event in Buenos Aires last month to bring some serious form into Cordoba, yet to drop a set from qualifying through to the quarter-finals. Munar leads their head-to-head after winning their first encounter in Marrakech back in 2019 but take Bagnis to earn at least a set here with the home crowd behind him.

TIP: FACUNDO BAGNIS TO WIN A SET
