World number 110 Ugo Humbert is far better than his current ranking suggests but it is at least reflective of his poor season on tour. World number 133 Jan-Lennard Struff is also much better than his current ranking and the German almost single-handedly dragged his nation through to the Davis Cup Finals two weeks ago at home on his favoured clay in Hamburg. Both players have qualified this week to make the main draw but that should give them some useful momentum ahead of tis first tour meeting with each other. Humbert has the higher ceiling but Struff the better recent confidence. Back the Frenchman to win at least a set and leave the victor up to chance.
