World number 83 Duckworth put in a big shift to beat another Aussie, Thanasi Kokkinakis, in three sets at the Winston-Salem Open last week and he looks the likelier of the two to come through this likely marathon match on Tuesday. World number 118 O’Connell will have to say something about that, though, after seeing match points come and go against eventual Winston-Salem Open champion Adrian Mannarino in the first round this time last week.
