Jack Draper picked up the biggest title of his career so far as he won the Vienna Open on Sunday and he faces a tough opening match in Paris against Jiri Lehecka on day two

JACK DRAPER VS JIRI LEHECKA PREDICTION

Jack Draper was in fine form last week as he won the Vienna Open beating the in-form Karen Khachanov 6-4 7-5 in the final. Over the course of the week, he beat some decent players such as Tomas Machac and Lorenzo Musetti and his confidence grew over the week.

Given that he has played so little since the US Open and contended with some injury issues, Draper did not lose a step and he looked really strong in Vienna. He will now have high hopes as he gets going in Paris.

He meets Jiri Lehecka who he faced in the final in Adelaide at the start of the year and it was the Czech star that won in three sets.

Lehecka has had a mixed time of it of late as he reached the final of the European Open in Antwerp 10 days ago before losing to Roberto Bautista Agut. He then went straight to Basel and lost 6-2 6-2 to the unfancied Pedro Martinez.

He should be well rested but it was one of those matches he should never be losing. That may serve him well here as he faces Draper but he will seriously have to raise his game. Draper is simply playing at a much higher level and while Lehecka is capable, we cannot go against Draper in this one.
