Stuttgart Open third seed Hubert Hurkacz will be one to watch this month in a grass swing full of potential. The 25-year-old reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon last season with stunning victories over Daniil Medvedev and Roger Federer and he has previously impressed on the surface as a player with a powerful serve and world class net game. World number Marton Fucsovics also enjoyed his best ever Grand Slam run at SW19 last season with a quarter-final exit to Novak Djokovic. The 30-year-old stands to lose a fair amount of ranking points soon if he cannot replicate that feat this month as he has struggled for impactful performances so far in 2022. Fucsovics had to come back from a set down to beat Jurij Rodionov on Tuesday and despite winning their only previous meeting the Hungarian looks like coming off the worst here.
