20-year-old Giulio Zeppieri came back from a set down to beat Pedro Cachin on Monday, claiming his first-ever tour-level victory. The Italian will set a new career-high ATP world ranking of around 157th after the feat and he will be a tougher force to stop off the back of one of the most important milestones of his young career. World number 99 Daniel Elahi Galan has been enjoying his time on tour in recent weeks, though, and a three-set victory over seventh seed Fabio Fognini on Monday cannot be ignored. The Colombian took a resurgent Aslan Karatsev to three sets last week in Gstaad before defeat and a straight-sets victory over Federico Coria before it is a decent result on clay. There is plenty of stock in this match for young Zeppieri, though, so take Galan to win at least a set as the likelier of two capable victors.
