30-year-old Filip Krajinovic had never won a match on grass upon entering Queen’s two weeks ago but the Serb threw caution to the wind in a stunning run to the final, where he lost to defending champion Matteo Berrettini. Krajinovic has finished runner-up in five ATP tour finals, with his best run coming at the 2018 Paris Masters in defeat to Jack Sock. 20-year-old Czech prospect Jiri Lehecka has lost each of his last four matches on tour but the youngster has plenty of tools that could see him excel on grass. Krajinovic’s run at Queen’s was so surprising that anything could happen here and this match is probably best kept away from any promising accumulators. If the Serb can replicate his performance he should reach the second round but taking both players to win at least a set here and leaving the result up to chance seems the sensible move.
