World number nine Felix Auger-Aliassime came back from a set down to beat in-form Marc-Andrea Huesler in a tougher-than-it-looked opener on Wednesday. The 22-year-old is now riding a nine-match winning streak into the round of 16 at the Swiss Indoors after claiming back-to-back ATP titles at the Firenze Open and European Open in similar conditions. 23-year-old Miomir Kecmanovic came into Basel at a career-high ATP world ranking of 28th after some excellent results across the Japan Open and Napoli Cup and the Serb leads Auger-Aliassime 2-1 in their head-to-head record, although the Canadian took the most recent of their two meetings this season at the Davis Cup Group Stages. All three of their matches have fallen in straight sets and so backing Auger-Aliassime edge this outright seems a reasonable risk given his current form. Kecmanovic has lost to an eventual finalist in each of his last two tournaments.
