World number nine Felix Auger-Aliassime has reached at least the quarter-finals stage in six of his last seven tournaments after a straight-sets defeat to eventual champion Hubert Hurkacz at Halle last week. The odd tournament out was a round of 16 loss to eventual champion Rafael Nadal at Roland-Garros in a five-set thriller and with fewer natural predators on grass the Canadian is a serious outside chance for a very deep run at Wimbledon. This looks like it could be a thrilling first meeting with serve-and-volley throwback Maxime Cressy, who will break the top 50 for a first time on Monday after a storming run to the final of the Eastbourne International. 25-year-old Cressy just lost out to Taylor Fritz in three tight sets and the American may encounter a similar threat against Auger-Aliassime, with sets likely to both ways and tiebreaks very likely. Take both players to win at least a set here and add in at least a tiebreak for good measure in a match that could well go to five.
