World number nine Felix Auger-Aliassime was stunned in the round of 16 of the Grand Prix Hassan II last week by eventual runner-up Alex Molcan to make it three defeats from his last four on tour. World number 83 Lorenzo Musetti overcame a great clay-courter in Benoit Paire on Monday and he has improved steadily this season as he attempts to regain his former mojo.
The pair share a 1-1 head-to-head record after a win apiece on clay last season, Auger-Aliassime at the Barcelona Open and Musetti at the Lyon Open, with both falling in three sets.
