30-year-old Federico Coria will set a new career-high ATP world ranking of at least 53rd after coming back from a set down to beat Richard Gasquet on Friday. The Argentine stunned Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the first round in Marrakech and he could be on for just his second ATP tour final with a win here after he finished runner-up to Casper Ruud at last season’s Bastad Open. However, former world number seven David Goffin looks to be the man to beat at the Grand Prix Hassan II as the most experienced title winner and he has twice come back from a set down this week to beat clay specialists Pablo Andujar and Roberto Carballes Baena. On current form it is likely that Coria can win at least a set here and that looks the more valuable option of the two, even if Goffin ends up winning in the end.
