World number 32 Fabio Fognini set a career-high ATP world ranking of ninth back in 2019 not long after winning his first and only Masters title to date at the Monte-Carlo Open. The 34-year-old has won eight of his total nine career ATP titles on clay and he has reached at least the quarter-finals on three occasions in Monte-Carlo. World number 58 Arthur Rinderknech is a solid all-court player who has beaten the likes of Jannik Sinner and Roberto Bautista Agut on clay.
