THE PREDICTION

31-year-old David Goffin won the sixth ATP title of his career on Sunday with victory over Alex Molcan at the Grand Prix Hassan II in Morocco. The former world number seven is currently ranked at 47th after several seasons of difficult form, although he managed to win a tournament form the blue last year too with a surprise campaign at the Montpellier Open. Goffin will have to cope with the post-title slump here against impressive youngster Jiri Lechecka as the Czech comes off a strong qualifying campaign to make his Masters debut. The 20-year-old has beaten the likes of Denis Shapovalov and Lorenzo Musetti this season and it took Stefanos Tsitsipas in three sets to oust him from the Rotterdam Open semi-finals in February. With Goffin’s level coming off the back of a huge amount of spent energy in Marrakech, back the young Czech to win at least a set here in a match with plenty of upset potential.
