World number 30 Miomir Kecmanovic has enjoyed an excellent season on tour, his best yet at 23 years old, and a second ATP title would be a wonderful way to cap it off. World number 65 Corentin Moutet, also 23, came back from a set down to oust an intriguing young Italian talent in Luca Nardi on Tuesday and he will be the better for it after surviving a second-set tiebreak. The firebrand Frenchman put in a career-best run at the US Open last month to reach the round of 16 at a Grand Slam for the first time and if he finds that level he could sneak this first encounter with Kecmanovic. The more dependable performer remains the Serb, though, who can be backed to win at least a set inside an accumulator or at outright as a one-off.
