World number 88 Chun-hsin Tseng took the first set of his first round match with Christopher O’Connell on Tuesday before the Aussie was forced to retire. 21-year-old Tseng has been struggling for most of the season as he continues to try and make the jump across from Challenger events to main tour tennis but whilst this looks a winnable way into the quarter-finals on paper, world number 222 Aleksandar Kovacevic looks a tough force to stop. The 24-year-old stunned seventh-seed Miomir Kecmanovic in straight sets on Monday after failing to qualify for the main draw, winning his main tour debut in incredible fashion. There are more questions than answers here in a first meeting between the two but backing the American to win at least a set off the back of the biggest moment of his career seems a suitable way to avoid picking a winner.
