This is an intriguing first round clash between world number 74 Brandon Nakashima and number 81 Kamil Majchrzak after Nakashima beat the Pole in straight sets in the Italian Open qualifiers last week. 20-year-old Nakashima went on to lose in the first round in Rome to Grigor Dimitrov whilst 25-year-old Majchrzak turned his attentions to an impressive run at the Geneva Open this week, reaching the quarter-finals before defeat to Richard Gasquet on Thursday.
