World number five Stefanos Tsitsipas recovered well from an upset defeat to Holger Rune in the Stockholm Open final on Sunday with a straight-sets victory over Dennis Novak on Wednesday. The 24-year-old is still far from his fluid best on court which has often seen him falter against the better players and in the key moments, just as he did in the Cincinnati Masters final to Borna Coric. This rematch against the Croat should be a fascinating watch and the Greek looks the fair favourite to level things this time around. World number 27 Coric only returned from year-long absence through surgery earlier this season and winning the biggest title of his career so far in Cincinnati came as a huge shock, perhaps no more to him than anyone else. Since then, the former world number 12 has played well in places but not yet pushed on and a three-set victory over Quentin Halys on Monday looks like a level below what Tsitsipas should bring to this revenge mission.
