This should be another thrilling edition to an already storied rivalry on court between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev, with the Greek leading 5-4 in their head-to-head record after taking their most recent meeting in three sets at the Madrid Open back in May. World number six Tsitsipas overcame Hubert Hurkacz in impressive fashion on Friday to suggest he could be on the up after some more questionable results in recent tournaments, including losing to Borna Coric in the final of the Cincinnati Open back in August with a torrid performance. World number nine Rublev has enjoyed the kinder run this week in Astana but conceding just three games to in-form Adrian Mannarino on Friday is a solid result and he will be eager to level things against Tsitsipas, with their record not yet seeing a gap of more than one win.
