ANDREY RUBLEV VS STAN WAWRINKA PREDICTION

Andrey Rublev continues to flirt between the sublime and distinctly average on the ATP Tour so it very much depends on which version of the 26-year-old turns up.

He was excellent in his 6-4 6-1 win over Alexandre Muller in his opening match on Thursday and it will be a fascinating match-up here against veteran Stan Wawrinka.

The 39-year-old Swiss star has defied the years already this week beating Brandon Nakashima and then Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. After the three-setter against the Spaniard on Thursday, whether his legs can do the same again remains to be seen.

He is coming up against Rublev who has all the energy in the world and it is hard to see Wawrinka having much success here. We strongly favour the younger man to win in straight sets in this one.
