World number 78 Alejandro Tabilo took the first two sets and then a deciding fifth set from Laslo Djere on Monday in a huge way to make your Wimbledon debut. The 25-year-old really came into his own at the ATP Cup earlier this season with a series of passionate performances for his native Chile and he will be a tougher man to stop now as a confidence player. 25th seed Miomir Kecmanovic overcame John Millman in four sets on Monday for a fairly straightforward first win on grass this season. The 22-year-old is at his best on clay but hardcourts are where he has shone this year with two superb runs to the quarter-finals at Indian Wells and the Miami Open as well as a first second week made at a Grand Slam in Melbourne back in January. Neither Kecmanovic or Tabilo has much experience on this surface and despite the Serb’s incredible form this season it would not be a surprise to see Tabilo sneak this having beaten Kecmanovic in their only previous meeting at this season’s Chile Open. Back both players to win at least a set and leave the winner up to chance.
