Remember the name Maria Camila Osorio Serrano as the 19-year-old Columbian continues her progression up the WTA world rankings. The teenager reached her career-high 94th in the world after initially winning her first WTA title on home soil in Bogota and then going on to finish runner-up at the Serbia Open, both on her favoured clay. However, coming back from a set down to beat Anna Kalinskaya on Monday is an impressive Wimbledon debut indeed and she will be a dangerous second round opponent to 32nd seed Ekaterina Alexandrova.
World number 36 Alexandrova made short work of Laura Siegemund in the first round to remain the favourite here but she will be in for a really tough first meeting with the Colombian. The 26-year-old has never got past the second round at Wimbledon and this match has an air of the upset around it. This match looks set to go to a decider so taking either player to win at least a set looks a reasonable option here, though Alexandrova is probably the best of two fairly tricky options.
