The 22 year-old from Finland only turned pro in 2018 but has already qualified for the finals the first round of the last seven Grand Slam tournaments. However, he has only made it to the second round of those Grand Slams on two occasions; one of them being at the 2020 US Open.
THE PREDICTION
Kamil Majchrzak in qualification for this event and he has won all three without dropping a set. However, that is unlikely to be a theme continues in the first round of the Open. Ruusuvuori has been playing across North America in the build up to the tournament so neither will have an advantage in terms of preparation and the Finnish player should be the favourite to overcome his Polish counterpart.
