World number nine Matteo Berrettini has been breaking British hearts all week long at Queen’s Club by taking out both Andy Murray and Dan Evans in the last two rounds and the Italian has got better with each passing match. With the 25-year-old yet to drop a set, in no small part due to his exceptional serving this week, it is difficult to see a way in for world number 22 Alex de Minaur in this semi-final. However, the 22-year-old’s victory over recent Stuttgart Open champion, and two-time Queen’s champion, Marin Cilic was impressive indeed and the Aussie was clearly delighted with a huge performance that has been needed for some time. This has the potential to be a thriller as long as De Minaur can find a way through Berrettini’s consistent 140mph serving but the Italian is the top seed for a reason so take him as outright winner here.
