However, she faces a tough first meeting with world number 262 and home favourite Katie Boulter, who has powered through three impressive wins over Maria Osorio Serrano, Marie Bouzkova and ninth seed Heather Watson to reach the quarter-finals here for a third time. 24-year-old Boulter is far better than her current WTA ranking and the home crowd should be able to help towards at least a set here in a match that could go either way.
