World number 44 Alexander Bublik and number 14 Denis Shapovalov meet in the second round of the Madrid Open for what looks a wholly impossible result to call with both players well inside the top 10 most unpredictable on tour. 23-year-old Bublik overcame Hungary’s Marton Fucsovics in impressive style on Sunday whilst Shapovalov was masterful in a win over Dusan Lajovic and with both players keen on the making shots for the highlights reel this will be a quality match to watch. Bublik was the winner the last time they met but quite honestly this result could go any which way. In this case, take the higher-ranked Shapovalov to win at least a set but leave this one well out of any accumulators.
