World number 39 Marton Fucsovics is a fit and ready runner well-suited to clay-court tennis and that shows in his 2018 Geneva Open win, his only ATP title to date. The Hungarian took a few weeks off after a disappointing first round loss to Lorenzo Sonego at the Monte-Carlo Masters but he should be more competitive against world number 43 Alexander Bublik. 23-year-old Bublik leads their head-to-head record 1-0 but the lanky Kazakh is far from a willing runner and that leaves him a little short on this surface. On the hard court this would be a tough call but if Fucsovics plays to his ability he can overcome Bublik here, probably in two.
