World number 13 Barbora Krejcikova faced friend, compatriot and seasoned doubles partner Katerina Siniakova in the quarter-finals on Friday and totally dominated proceedings. The Roland-Garros champion is yet to drop a set this week and holds a superb chance now at winning her third WTA title this season as the highest seed left in the draw. In her way is exciting young Chinese prospect Xinyu Wang, who overcame a dogged challenge from Grace Min fairly comfortably. 19-year-old Wang is ranked at 147th in the WTA world rankings right now but should be able to surpass her career-high of 135 achieved last year soon enough. Wang lost to Sofia Kenin in the first round of Wimbledon late last month to suggest Krejcikova is still slightly out of the teenager’s reach, so take the Czech to win in straight sets here as she continues to overpower and outmanoeuvre practically anyone in front of her.
