THE PREDICTION
It is eighth seed versus ninth seed as world number 78 Tereza Martincova and number 110 Greet Minnen meet in the semi-finals of the Prague Open. 23-year-old Minnen made short work of Storm Sanders in the quarter-finals, conceding just two games, whilst 26-year-old Martincova is yet to drop a set all week in keeping with some excellent recent performances. Martincova was the winner in their only previous encounter with a first round victory in straight sets at the Istanbul open last season. The Czech has been in fine form this summer, reaching back-to-back quarter-finals in Nottingham and Birmingham as well as a strong third round exit to eventual runner-up Karolina Pliskova. Whilst Minnen has enjoyed a strong run to the last four here she looks set to come off the worst in this second meeting. Take Martincova to win this outright.
