19-year-old Iga Swiatek fought back bravely against in-form Barbora Krejcikova to come through their round of 16 match in three sets and the Pole looked assured come the end of that particular test. Current Roland-Garros champion and world number 15 Swiatek lost to Ash Barty last week in Madrid and if that is the level required to oust her then world number six Elina Svitolina will need to be at her very best. The Ukrainian was near that mark in beating Garbine Muguruza in straight sets on Thursday but this first meeting with Swiatek looks an even more difficult test. Take the fiery teenager to win at least a set here with this match looking like it will need a decider before a winner is found.
